3. The athlete is taught self hypnosis to enhance performance.
4. As needed, the athlete is taken through a hypnotherapy session to assist in accessing resources that he or she has lost touch with from the past. The athlete will learn to balance emotions and to remove emotional connections they wish to relax. They will create a positive mental expectancy.
