Kelly received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary/Special Education and a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Emporia State University.  She also holds a School Leadership Endorsement from ESU.  In 2010, Kelly received her Hypnotherapy certification from Patrick Coleman's Hypnotherapy School in Oklahoma City, OK.  There she received 350 hours of hypnotherapy training in a medical setting.  She is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist registered with the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (ACHE).  Kelly has 20 years experience with teaching, counseling, and behavior modification. 

Kelly became interested in hypnosis several years ago when her lifelong friend, also a hypnotherapist, took her through a session for success mindset.  She realized immediate positive behavioral changes from just one session.  A few years later Kelly became interested in the possibilities hypnosis offered in the area of pain management.  She suffers from pain due to a bulging disc, arthritis, and structural problems. Through use of self-hypnosis she is now able to manage her pain between chiropractic adjustments with little or no discomfort.  She has also experienced a marked improvement in dealing with anxiety and no longer suffers from insomnia.  As a student at Coleman's Hypnotherapy School she experienced positive behavioral results from using hypnosis with her son for sports mindset, and with friends for smoking cessation, stress reduction, and irrational fears.  Kelly taught special education for several years and worked with students on behavior modification through goal setting and incorporating replacement behaviors.  After receiving her training in hypnosis she knew that adding a simple relaxation technique to create a focused mindset could help others achieve the positive behavioral changes they are seeking.  As a result of these experiences she decided to become a certified hypnotherapist to help others receive the same benefits she has experienced through hypnosis.
